Description
A refined Edwardian side chair in the Regency style. Taking many hours, this chair has been fully restored by our skilled craftspeople and reupholstered in a delicately-patterned linen by Inchyra, Scotland.
A decorative inlaid back rail sits above a cross back rail with a central carved medallion. The floral pattern of the fabric echoes the inlaid floral and bow design.
“Based in the foothills of the Scottish Highlands, Caroline Inchyra has created a range of unique and timeless fabrics and accessories.
What started as an obsession with finding a way to recreate old linens, both in look and feel, has resulted in this exquisite collection of fabrics.
Linen is naturally biodegradable and recyclable. Many linen fabrics for interiors have some manmade content to add stability in the print and increase durability in use but we have decided that the benefits are not outweighed by the environmental impact of introducing plastics to the fabrics. For that reason Inchyra linens are pure natural fabrics which are completely biodegradable at the end of their use – which given the durability of linen should be many many years from now”
