Interior Designers & Guild
We work closely with interior designers to provide unique furniture solutions that allow their clients’ design aesthetic to come to life.
We have collaborated on a number of design projects for country estates on the west coast of Scotland. Working in tandem with the project designers & estate owners, we restored refined chairs and sofas, elegant chests of drawers, and stately sideboards and tables.
We have been commissioned by set-designers to provide antiques for television programmes such as ‘Outlander’.
Our extensive suite of finished, antique furniture meets the needs of designers who immediately require completed, stand-out pieces. We house a small collection of rare, museum-quality works by E.W. Godwin, E.A. Taylor, Dominique and René Prou amongst others.
A selection of unfinished furniture is also available. This allows a designer the freedom to select fabrics that align perfectly with their artistic vision.
Fabrics, Trims & Wallpapers
Our extensive range of fabrics originate from some of the oldest firms in the world. From Paris we have Tassinari et Chatel, who continue to create designs originally commissioned by Marie-Antoinette and Napoleon. Rubelli from Venice and Scottish fabrics from Bute, Harris Tweed, Anta and Timorous Beasties. Classic English materials from Fermoie, Lewis & Wood, Designers Guild and Abbott & Boyd. We also stock Metaphores, Casamance, Jean Paul Gaultier, Manuel Canovas, Pierre Frey, Lelievre, Nobilis, de Le Cuona and many more.
For the finishing touches, we have the most beautiful passementerie from Houles, Declercq and Sahco.
Our eclectic range of wallpapers showcase traditional and contemporary designs. These originate from a vast selection of companies; many featuring the current trend for full-scale murals.
