Race was a pioneer in the design of post-war furniture. He crafted his pieces from recycled materials.
Exhibiting exceptional and dynamic sculptural form. The chair has two loose cushions and also features a weighted headrest.
An incredible amount of time went into the restoration of this magnificent chair.
It was stripped to its frame and then reconstructed. It has been fully restored and then reupholstered in a stunning, sky blue tweed from Bute Fabrics, Scotland.
