The unique design, which was created on velvet, is by Studio Pinto and was made specifically for this chair. It is a true work of art. One-of-a-kind.
The artist writes, “The design for this piece comes from a print I created in 2018. When I met this chair, with its signs of a long life and odd back leg, it seemed the perfect object to sing out “Let Go of Your Story!” We are not defined by our past. Attitude is everything…” Sara Pinto
The chair has been fully and traditionally restored by our master craftspeople with fresh webbing, hessian, cotton felt and Egyptian calico. The piece has been hand-finished with an elegant trim from Houlès, Paris.
