Description

A fully-restored, rosewood, William IV, occasional chair, it has been reupholstered in an exquisite, butter yellow Inchyra linen.

The botanical design on the linen echoes that of the carved detail on the back of the chairs.

“Based in the foothills of the Scottish Highlands, Caroline Inchyra has created a range of unique and timeless fabrics and accessories.

What started as an obsession with finding a way to recreate old linens, both in look and feel, has resulted in this exquisite collection of fabrics.

Linen is naturally biodegradable and recyclable. Many linen fabrics for interiors have some manmade content to add stability in the print and increase durability in use but we have decided that the benefits are not outweighed by the environmental impact of introducing plastics to the fabrics. For that reason Inchyra linens are pure natural fabrics which are completely biodegradable at the end of their use – which given the durability of linen should be many many years from now”

There are two chairs available and would be stunning in either a contemporary or traditional setting.
