A Refined 19th Century Country House Buttonback Open Armchair
This piece has been traditionally restored, from the base up, by our master craftspeople.
The armchair is a solid wood frame with new webbing, lashed springs, fresh hessian with bridle ties to secure the horsehair. A soft layer of cotton felt below crisp cotton (FR) calico.
It would make an outstanding feature piece in a library, sitting room or drawing room.
The chair has been upholstered to calico to allow a client to select a fabric of their choosing, making the finished piece a truly unique and bespoke piece.
