Description
One of a pair, this McIntosh ‘Dunvegan’ carver chair is a lesson in refinement and a perfect example of Mid-Century Modern elegance.
Worked on for many hours, these subtle and sophisticated original sixties, carver chairs have been fully restored and the fixed seats have been finished with FR cotton calico. We could upholster the chairs to client specification, using a fabric from our extensive collection, or the chairs can be reupholstered in a fabric already chosen by a customer.
“McIntosh of Kirkcaldy in Scotland was one of the most prominent makers of British contemporary dining furniture in the 1960s and 70s, producing fine examples of mid-century modern furniture using traditional making processes that employed highly skilled cabinet makers.”
Five matching dining chairs are also available for sale; please see our other listings.
