One of a pair of Art Deco armchairs, each has been fully-restored by our skilled craftspeople using time-honoured methods.

The exquisite and bold design, features satinwood edging and French polished, glossy ebonised panels. The chair has been reupholstered in a majestic, mercurial velvet by de le Cuona, London and would be a standout piece in any home.

Art Deco design is characterised by its stunning, geometric shapes and the use of skilfully crafted materials. The artisanship often involves the use of exotic woods and as here, often features a dazzling lacquer gloss.

De Le Cuona, established by Bernie de Le Cuona in 1992, is a pioneer of sustainable luxury in interior textiles, knowing the origins of all the raw materials used, from sourcing the finest natural fibres for fabrics right through to designing stylish recycled packaging. Sustainability is a core part of the brand identity.

Harnessing inspiration and knowledge from her trips, Bernie established de Le Cuona with the passion to produce textiles that the world had never seen before.

Exceptionally soft, sumptuous and elegant – these textures, complemented by the distinctive colour palette inspired by Africa, make de Le Cuona’s collections truly unique.
