An incredible and rare, silver-plated, toast/letter rack originally designed by the highly influential Dr Christopher Dresser for James Dixon & Sons.
The piece is a licensed reproduction of an original held in the British Museum.
Now and especially for its time, it has a magnificent modernist shape. The design is an important piece in decorative arts history.
It is in excellent condition.
