Description
An original mid-century armchair. The piece has been fully restored and upholstered in a magnificent Rogers & Goffigon bouclé. The fabric is a blend of silk, wool and linen.
Many hours were spent rebuilding the chair from the base up. It has been re-glued and re-webbed, and has fresh hessian, new foam and FR calico.
A classic piece that would suit a modern setting or feature as an elegant, standalone piece in more traditional surroundings.
Beginning with just a suitcase filled with samples, Rogers & Goffigon was established by John Flynn and James Gould in 1988. Over three decades later, the company is now firmly established and has a world-wide group of suppliers and designers. Each utilise Rogers & Goffigon’s exquisite, trade-only fabrics in projects ranging from architecturally renowned homes to high-end hotels and important museums.
Working with some of the oldest mills in Europe, Rogers & Goffigon’s impeccable fabrics and high-quality trimmings are made using traditional, centuries-old techniques. The company is headquartered in Greenwich, Connecticut and has numerous showrooms around the globe, with an exclusive showroom in the D & D Building in New York City.
