An ebonised Aesthetic Movement writing desk, very much in the manner of Gillows of Lancaster.
One central drawer below the desk with four side drawers. Two drawers above the desk with central hinged opening for pens, ink and papers. Surmounted by three original bevelled mirrors.
All original brasswork intact, eight replacement castors to match.
New deep blue leather writing surface with tooled edges has been installed.
Ebonised and parcel gilt surface, with wear commensurate with age.
