Description

This is a neatly sized, comfortable, Edwardian button back armchair. It has been re-webbed, re-sprung & reupholstered by our skilled craftspeople. The frame is weighty and well-constructed, with a traditionally sprung seat.

The armchair has been re-covered in a luxurious British linen by Fermoie.

Fermoie was a natural progression for Farrow & Ball founders, Tom Helme and Martin Ephson. It allowed for them to take their deep expertise in colour and light to a textural dimension.

Their unique design and printing technique allows layers of colour, on the textured weaves, to shine through and interact with the prevailing light.

Using natural dyes, printed onto their own basecloths, Fermoie believe that beautiful fabrics should not come at the expense of the environment. They support a more sustainable textile industry by using natural raw materials, water-based pigments and recyclable or biodegradable packaging.
